This family had originally scheduled to have their entire brood photographed. We had plans on shooting at a local resort with a lot of beautiful scenery and detail. Well, when rumors of a monster snowstorm for the day of their session arose, we had to postpone our shoot. *cries*
We were unable to reschedule with the original location, so we decided to at least go ahead and get the kids photos done in the studio with plans to get the entire family in the frame in the spring…if it ever comes. (PLEASE come, Spring!!)
This family is absolutely amazing. There are 5 kids… 2 beautiful teenage ladies. 1 sweet and headstrong little boy, who is 2, his twin sister, an angel baby who was born sleeping, and a cute and cuddly 6 month old little guy. There is absolutely no mistaking the love that these guys all have for each other. They were a joy to work with and I can’t WAIT for our spring session.
Molly Bears is a non-profit organization that makes weighted stuffed bears for parents grieving the loss of an infant. They are an incredible company and I had the honor of photographing the bear that they made for this family. In addition to this bear, they had a piece of art commissioned by Carly Marie. She creates beautiful artwork as a way for bereaved families to heal and to honor their loved ones.
As I said, this family and their story have really reached into my heart and locked me in. I can’t wait to work with them again. Without further adieu…
